Unfortunately I have yet to see how she looks like, so currently, it's
'Your gf' this and that.
Anyhow... SWEET!
KK has annouced his future marriage with Mee Mum which will take place 7 years later if they both still 'left on the shelf' =x
& Syaz and I have agreed to marry each other if we are left on the shelf too!!!!
Finance-wise, my financial consultant, mommy in this case, has annouced that I have spent more than I have earned. =s screams again.

Hi there! We're your hungry ghosts, hosts, we mean for the day! Kelly & Mickey! =D
Yesterday could be considered quite uh... exciting.
=] it wasn't too bad lar.
Mickey seems to love exploring all the popular places to eat at, so this time, he did some careful research and brought us to Stone Grill.
Located at some far far away land at Katong.. which is hella far away from my home sweet home.
We took a train all the way to Eunos, and took a cab down to 91 East Coast Rd.
Reservations made at 7, we were promptly assigned our seat at 7.05.
Their staff were clad in black uniform, and the manager even had a jacket on.
Oh & all of them communicated via Motorola walkie talkies.
Service was pretty good, they introduced the menu to you and well, were quick.
Oh & food was served in 5 mins.
We ordered 3 mains, all chef's recommendations:
Prime of the Land $23.90
Which is a piece of thick juicy tenderloin served on a stone, kinda makes you feel like a caveman.
Like some flintstone huh?
Portobello Mushroom $8
According to mickey, this is the 'in' mushroom of the moment; Carl's Jr have a portobello mushroom burger too!
Big & juicy! Oh it has a black bottom, and we thought it was burnt!
The mushroom is simply fresh, a tad raw, but good.
Ultimate SeaFood Combo $21.90
A little bit of everything, 'best suited for first timers' according to the waiter Dominic.
As you can see, it has 2 empty scallop shells(bec the scallop is already in my stomach), 5 mussels, 2 tiny shrimps ( minus), 1 piece of dory, squids, ah, that's it.
When I placed my first piece of scallop on the grill, it sizzled and popped and I jumped, afraid it'd splatter on me. But since there was no oil, only some salt, nothing could.
I start digging in!

Yes I can sweetie.. but not in the picture.
I liked it quite a lot; but I was concerned about one thing:
We were using the same pair of cutlery to pick up the raw food, and the same pair we used to put into our mouths. Isn't there supposed to be some kinda germ or bacteria on raw food? As I type, I feel a strange feeling in my stomach. =S
Other than that, it was good. Food was simply done, and you could really taste the food. No msg or oil or whatsoever to prevent you from tasting food food. With some salt sprinkled on the stone grill to taste, it was enough.
Despite the lack of seasoning, the food was anything but bland. Fresh!
Oh but you would have be careful not to burn your tongue. I did twice, in my eagerness to plonk the food I cooked into my mouth.
After a not very filling dinner( we're relatively big eaters )
We headed to East Coast Park, which was a very gruelling experience.
=S We went there by cab, and as usual, there was a jam down to ECP, and halfway, the driver said, why dun u get off here and walk down? It's a lot faster. There's a flight of stairs leading down.
We believed him and got off, (Mickey even said to keep the change), and to our horror, there was only a steep slope. And I was wearing a skirt and heels!
After several squealing & shrieking, Mickey finally persuaded me to try going down with him holding me. 'You've got me here. Don't worrY!'
I nodded and agreed to try. But before I did, I screamed in his face, ' If I tumble down and get disfigured, you're dead!!!'
I think he was kinda scared I would too.
Step by step, we did it! =D YAY! Turning back, I couldn't believe I let him talk me into going down that dangerous slope!
But he was very apologetic for making me go thru all that trouble.
We made our way there, and he planned a little something for us!
He brought a ground mat, and a packet of candles.
Yes, you guessed!
Star Gazing & all! But darn, this picture makes me look really fat & bloated!!!!

He starts lighting them up while I lie there and look.
No, my babies! He tries to protect the flickering flames from the sea breeze.

1. I dont expect him to look like MJ nor do i expect him to look like some guy off Men's Health's cover . Just someone visually pleasant looking, taller than me, ... smelling good is a plus point!
2. Yes, I would like if you don't smoke, swear or gamble.. Oh and womanize/flirt!!
You better not... or else. Occasional drinker is fine.
3. Honesty!
4. Financially stable & sufficiently educated.
5. Speaking well and presenting yourself well would be attractive
6. Filial & family-oriented. Mommy says family oriented guys are good.
7. No obscene habits like scratching your ass/groin, picking your nose/ears(& flicking it at me!), keeping terrifyingly long nails etc.
8. Positive attitude to life, optimist... so that you can convert/drown the pessimist in me.

I was reading Syaz's blog about our circle of friends breaking up.
I wonder if Syaz is over reacting or if what he's saying is on its way to become reality in front of our faces.
Come to think of it, I haven't seen everyone since... since.. Azhar's paper?
HMM!
Maybe Syaz is right.
Why did we push it so far back anyway?
What should we do?
I'd say we could have an emergency outing this weekend.
Hmm.... Maybe this saturday? I could postpone my movie date with Mickey to another day.
Maybe we could go catch a quick movie this sat and have some coffee at Starbucks, or somewhere.

why i am the way i am

I was questioning why I am the way I am(acting stupid & doing really... pessimistically hopeless stuffs).
My boyfriend says it's because I lost my sense of direction along the way.
Yesterday, I told my boyfriend something that actually left him speechless. For a moment or so, I was pretty proud that I finally could leave him silent.
After he hung up, I realised there was nothing proud of. In fact, I felt quite evil.
Okay, while bathing yesterday, I was bored & was thinking of something to think of. Naturally, I thought of my bf.
He's planning for his future, like finally, might be enrolling in a course at SIM.
He's 23 now, the course will take 3 yrs= 26 by then.
Within 4 years, can he make a monthly income of 4k? (to be able to afford a home, a car & a diamond ring) *he's 30 by that.. and i'm 26*
Maybe 3k, but the chance is low.
Which means, from now to .........
Wait. I've counted wrongly!!
AAAH!!!! Okay cool.
zzz. No wonder my bf says I'm stupid. Boy, he's right!
Oh anyway, there will be a Puppy Adoption Drive this Sunday at East Coast Park! [9.30am-5.30pm] , it's under ST's Class Ads Pets Corner.
Well, even if you're not planning to adopt, you can just pop by & join the crowd.
which is what I'll be doing! :)

Hi Guys!
I am back!
Alive, yes I'm still alive. Despite my past entries.

Um yeah. Mickey & I are fine now.
But I'm not that fine, because I've been down with a bad throat infection for 3 weeks already.
And I can't eat all that good food.
Falling sick makes me realise what a blessing it is to be able to gorge on cool sweet ice-cream, and hot piping MacDonald's french fries dipped in mayonaise & chilli!!!!!!!!
*sobs*
And all that Laksa, and prata, and nasi bryani...

It's a terrible plight to be in. =S Trust me.
