I can run!

I never knew I could run so quickly.

People(and animals) run for many reasons, they run when they are:

1. Restrained
2. Cornered
3. Frightened

Eventful day yesterday, went to Rachel's place for Canon and rushed back to woodlands for dinner.

Mickey grunted a greeting when he saw me, instead of appreciating my punctuality.( Yes I was!But he was early)

His face was just about as dark as his black top.

After a series of merry-go-round we ended up screaming at each other angrily in the middle of Causeway Point where people brushed past us, staring at us in curiosity.

And I always thought people who openly scream/yell/shout/fight in public were just plain rude and doing nothing but embarrass themselves.

I was suddenly one of them, and I found out when you're the one who is hopping mad, smelly, sticky, frustrated, and feeling plain blah you just can't be bothered anymore. Yes, while I am having my fit I can still sense that everyone is staring. The only thing I am concerned about at that point of time is to get my message across to the person who is on the receiving end.

He didn't spare me his either.

We cooled down quickly after our outburst, and we back to being the regular couple. With some cajoling from him, nonetheless.

Later while watching TV, he picked up my hand and started to massage them, only to recoil in horror when he saw my finger short of a strip of silver glimering metal.

And me, sinking in the initial pampering was, well, sinking into my sofa seat already, didn't quite realise it. 'WHERE'S YOUR RING?!' He shook me. I didn't quite believe my eyes as I looked at my right hand, back to my left hand, and back right to determine that my ring was really missing.

I hopped out of my seat and ran to the crumpled blue jeans sitting in my toilet floor, rummaged through my pockets(I removed them was I was working at Canon Proj). And finally felt the ultimate sense of dread fill my chest as I walked back to him to annouce our loss.

He maintained a glum face for the rest of the night.

I smsed Rachie and asked her to keep a look out for a silver something. She was very helpful and even got Daisy to help.

He left for home and I begged him to search for my ring along the way. He made a face and closed the lift door at my face.

On an impulse, I went down and ran after him, but as he saw me, he tried to grab and stop me in my tracks. I ducked from his hands and bolted across the road, and I saw a bright light shine my eyes.

I heard cars screeching and honking.

and a strobe of brighter light shone in my way, and I saw a figure beckon me towards the light.

Oh I'm in heaven!

and blogging away in heaven's lab(it's pretty high tech there...)

Hell no.

On an impulse, I went down and ran after him, but as he saw me, he tried to grab and stop me in my tracks. I ducked from his groping hands and bolted across the road, across the junction.

I ran to the Night market area where I thought I might dropped it.

I didn't find it.

He arrived 10 mins after me, and boy, did he look pissed.

He yelled at me (again) for running across roads like a mad woman.

Yell yell scream, stomps away from each other.

SO DRAMA-MAMA.

I should have grabbed and kissed him in his angry head then.

A (very) Wicked Tale

I just watched a pervertedly artsy film, by Singaporean director Tzang Merwyn Tong.

UM.

I was supposed to be doing a DVD Review, and since Khai offered me this intriguing little DVD, I decided to give it a try.

On it's cover, it had opinions from Montreal Mirror, reading 'A hallucinatory atmospheric film drenched in lust and dread'

Did I mention it's NC-16?

Okay, it's very lusty, filled with gore,blood, sex scenes and makes the viewers curl up and shrivel. At least I was shrivelling.

The film has a dark, spooky feel to it, and its dialogue was all done it subtitles in the earlier part of the film. I actually like it, but I felt it certain scenes were unnecessary, ie, there was a 'sneak preview' of the male lead's uhm, male anatomy. But if you blinked, you'd miss it.

A Wicked Tale is one twisted remake of the innocent fairytale, The Red Riding Hood. As Tzang's interview mentioned, the film explores an innocent girl's sexual awakening.

How should I rate it?

Do you feel lost sometimes?

In the rapid pace of life, as Earth spins away, do you sometimes hope that time would stop, and let you think and wonder what exactly is going on?

And let you slowly get back into track.

I'm not exactly out of track, I just feel I'm not living life.

I'm just feeling that time is just fleeting past me, and I don't know what I am really doing.

It's not fulfilling.

It leaves me empty with no aftertaste.

People and things are just fleeting past me, so quickly, that I don't realise it until they're gone for a long, and perhaps for good.

I'm wasting my time, stoning in front of my computer and surfing for online shopping.

I'm wasting my time spending money on expensive $6.50 movies .

I'm wasting my time dreaming of a better day tomorrow when I can't get up and do something about it.

It's time.

Time I went out to do something meaningful and worthwhile

Something I've always wanted.

GO SHOP AT A LOUIS VUITTON BOUTIQUE!!!!

No, seriously, that is not my answer.

I should pick one of the following and commit to it:

1. Volunteer at Zoo, Bird Park, ASD
2. Pick up a new sport, like Kickboxing, Yoga, Pilates
3. Volunteer where they need help and stop being choosy
4. Visit the beach and chill

the perverted indian man

I stepped into the elavator after a lanky indian man dressed in a short sleeved shirt and pants, with a backpack. He was roughly 1.8m tall.
He had a pair of jaundiced eyes, which was also blood shot.

It was my first time seeing him. A new neighbour I supposed.

As we stood in the descending elavator, I could feel his roving eye scan my body lewdly, mumbling some indian phrase as he did so.

It felt like his eyes could see through my clothes, yes, it was that uncomfortable.

He walked ahead of me along the way to the mrt station.

I stood a few steps away from him watching him disgustedly-

The indian man was just about analysing every single female that walked past him, in front of him, any one in view of him!

And as he stared at the moving females, it was almost as though he was making a note to see which vulnerable female would be a good prey when he was having a ravenous hunger pang.

It made me nauseaous to just observe him from far.

We boarded the same MRT train, and I stood some distance away looking at him, witht another man blocking his view of me, I felt very secure.

I bet he was having a wonderful visual treat, that pair of revolting eyes hopping from one female to another, slowly and surely.

Nauseates at the thought of it.

Men like that should just be shot.

He is a potential threat to the well being and safety of every female in Woodlands.

And I have no idea what I can do to protect myself from this potential rapist/stalker/pervert/loony.

Please please let me know if there is something I can do.

The Lake House

If you're going to watch The Lake House, and absolutely hate spoilers, you might want to cease reading soon, just in case you decide to pull my hair out when you see me.

The Lake House is just beautiful; a glass house standing in the lake, facing a big, free lake.

I adored the show, though it's totally illogical and impossible, and some parts didn't make much sense.

The leads are fantastic to look at, Sandra Bullock & Keanu Reeves. The feel of The Lake House is definitely romantic, it's also very subtle. Pace-wise, kinda slow and relaxed and a tad too draggy that even I almost fell asleep.

The impossibility of the movie which first bothered me were mostly inapparent when I allowed myself to feel them, feel their yearning, feel their agony of wanting to see each other.

The beauty of the movie lies in the impossible love that they managed to find after all, the fairy tale that they could live in.

I'm in love with The Lake House.
