I want to know the reason behind every action, remark, event, anything.
When I die, I'm going to ask God lots of questions. [ If I see him, that is]
I want to ask why some people have everything going well for them, and others have to wallow in misery.
I want to ask where do people get the personalities and characters from. Is it from the events and life that God gave them? Or is it just formed from their minds?
I want to know why some are forced into corners.
I want to know why do good people get unlucky.
I want to ask if there are animals in heaven and hell.
If there are seasons and weather in heaven and hell.
I want to know why he won't strike me when it rains so I'll shut up.
I feel unhealthy now, i think i can't see my toes.
Think I should do some exercise.
o.o
No, I'll go play some games now.

YAWNS!
I'm exhausted.
Will be leaving Broadcast for Print in 2 weeks, & come to think of it, I will miss Broadcast.
Being in Broadcast allows me to explore much places in Singapore, that I never knew existed.
Recently, we went down to Animal Resort, which is located at Farmway 5, somewhere around Seletar, where Jalan Kayu is.
Their assistant director is a young, promising guy, who happens to be really nice too! He brought us around the Farm for us to film, and even sent us out.
No, this is not an ad for Animal Resort, [i'm not paid!] but honestly, anyone should drop by to visit the farm before it's gone!

Geylang Getaway Trip
Friday, July 14, 2006
The connoisseurs reunite!
'In this episode of Food Haunts, we reunite various connoisseurs from previous. Our connoisseurs will be tasting, Beef Kway Teow, Frog Porridge, Dim Sum and Bean Curd with Dough Fritters. '
'No mercy! Start chomping and embark along the streets of Geylang!'
Yes, the lines will be read with Maxine's very high-pitched voice which will deafen poor KK when he edits.
Anyway, abt 3/4 of the bimboatics team attended the Geylang Food Haunts Outing.
May I introduce our dear connoisseurs!
In clockwise direction, Alex Shieh [Egg Mayo's Hip-Hop Guy] Famous Line: Bread makes me strong!
Ho Yi Ting [ Laksa's Girl] Famous Line: Fattening, fattening, FATTENING!
Maxine Ang [ Curry Puff's Potato Marketeer ] Famous Line: Don't you DARE cut me!
Ahmad Syazwan [Egg Mayo's Manhunt Reject] Famous Line: I wanna have a six pack by graduation!
Ng Khuan Kung [ Ban Mian's silent guy] Famous Line: I can tell male ikan bilis from a female!
Kelly Yan [ Ban Mian Earring maker] Famous Line: Nil Only famous for sucking noodles in birdly manner.
Anyway, the little outing was fairly simple.
We gorged on some of the street's most famous stalls,
Stop #1 - Beef Kuay Teow The food arrived within 1 minute after ordering. That's like the fastest food I've ever tried! Beef was tender and soft and wasn't like daunting to swallow! I liked the beef. THey were generous with the gravy as well. It was a little pricey tho, $16 for a medium.
Rating: 3 / 5
Stop #2 - Frog Porridge Sweet flavour of the frogs had penetrated the rice grains, and hence seasoning was not necessary. However, for convenience of customers, they should only use Frog Legs! I happened to eat some strange body part of the frog, which was treacherously threatening. Hello! Sharp edges were almost going to puncture my mouth!
Rating: 3.5 / 5
Stop #3- Dim Sum We waited quite a while for the food to arrive. Har Gow [Prawn Dumplings], my all time favourite arrived piping hot; the prawn in the transulent dumpling skin was crunchy and good! The scallop dumpling was strange and didn't appeal to me. Quite expensive actually. 3 prawn dumplings for $3?
Rating: 3/5
Stop #4- Beancurd with Dough Fritters Service wasn't too good. Dough Fritters made it very oily and nobody finished their portion. The food was good when you first started, but it became very queasy upon the first quarter. We should have shared! 2 to one bowl.
Rating: 3/5
Overall Rating of Geylang: 3/5
Will come back for more. Geylang is a good place to explore and have little gatherings with friends after evening.
GOOD

Pepper Lunch
Tuesday, July 11, 2006
On our pre-anniversary mini celebration, Mickey & I went for a late lunch at Pepper Lunch. I had a shimufuri ( obviously spelled wrong ) beef steak.
The beef was juicy. It came along with a shower of bean sprouts and 2 sad slices of carrot and 3 skinny long beans. I didn't really like the bean sprouts. UH. I do not like bean sprouts actually.
Along with a 'sugar-free' green tea, the set costed Mickey about 16.
I liked the special butter that came along with the beef. It had a garlicky tinge to it.
I pretty much enjoyed it. Altho the steak cooked too quickly for us to realise that temperature was too low to cook the beef anymore. And we forgot when to pour the sauce in.
Despite the 260 degrees hot plate, no oil splattered on me. Which was commendable.
Alright, they had a piece of paper covering the edge of the plate to protect the terrified customers with the instructions on it.
Mickey had a beef and chicken combo, which he found good too! It was seriously a simple and good date.
Oh and we also had Venezia Gelato ice-cream. I had Dark Chocolate and he had Mint Choc.
The ice cream was thick and filled with flavour. Every scoop. Sinful.
That was it for our 8th anniversary! Nope, no pictures unfortunately. I can't point exactly why, but we just didn't.
His birthday coming soon, and I have absolutely no idea what to get! ><
