Located discreetly on the second level along the shophouse at Prinsep Street, Mind Cafe hasn't been so discreet after all. Apparently, they have been featured regularly in newspapers and magazines, and the assistant manager Ben Tan seems pretty comfortable on camera, who even said, 'Oh, I do this all the time, for other students...'
Filming at the Mind Cafe was quite tiring too, considering the distance we had to walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station to the cafe, and I believe my fellow team mates Caryn & Maxine must have been even more tired, who were lugging the tripod and the camera around.
No wonder Maxine is sleeping at home now, resting, I mean.
Fascinated by the collection of games they offer, I signed up for 'Mind Friend' where the cafe holds events to bring small groups of people together to play games.
I can't wait till they call me and ask me to go down to play! =D
A tad expensive, but it seems that the people there are really enjoying themselves. Everyone we filmed was smiley and nice.
I declared that anybody who steps into Mind Cafe must be good and sweet people.
I am really tempted to work there, as a part time waitress, alas, my school hours do not allow me to =S
'When are we going there?' says Maxine quizzically.
